Job Description:
Civista Bank, a prestigious and well-established financial
institution known for its personalized service and comprehensive
financial solutions, is seeking a VP of Sales to lead our Sales &
Business Development department. This role is crucial for driving
the bank's revenue growth through strategic planning and execution
of sales strategies. The ideal candidate will excel in maintaining
and expanding customer relationships, understanding market trends,
and enhancing the banks competitive position within the banking
industry. This executive will ensure our sales strategies align
with the overall objectives of Civista Bank, fostering a culture of
success and innovation. Develop and execute strategic plans to
achieve sales targets and expand our customer base. Build and
maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering
with them and understanding their needs. Present sales, revenue and
expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware
of new products and competition status. Lead and motivate the sales
team to achieve optimal performance and growth. Collaborate with
Marketing, Product Development, and Compliance departments to
ensure the bank's offerings meet customer needs while adhering to
market and regulatory demands. Participate in professional banking
events, conferences, and seminars to network and promote Civista
Bank’s services. Proven ability to drive the sales process from
plan to close. Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management
skills. Strong business sense and banking industry expertise.
Ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and
effectively at all levels of the organization. Proven ability to
articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and
position them against competitors. MBA or Master's degree in a
related field is advantageous. Relevant sales management training
or certifications such as Certified Sales Leadership Professional
(CSLP) or Strategic Sales Management Certification.
