JOB SUMMARY: Due to our continued growth, we have an awesome opportunity for a talented HVAC Lead Technician to join the BG team on the Lorain County Community College campus in Elyria, OH.
DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Monitor and inspect HVAC systems and their components (e.g., heating units, building exhaust fans, pumps, ventilation units, building automation controls, etc.) to evaluate condition, identifying necessary repairs
• Diagnose problems and/or failures in heating/air conditioning systems to identify equipment and/or systems repair and/or replacement needs
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to HVAC equipment and building automation controls
• Inform management regarding procedures and/or status of work orders to provide information for making decisions, taking appropriate action, and/or complying with building and safety regulations
• Request equipment and supplies to maintain inventory and ensure availability of items required to complete the necessary maintenance and/or repair
• Respond to emergencies after hours
• Complete work orders and requests promptly using a Company supplied iPad
• Follow all policies and procedures established in the Brewer-Garrett Manuals and Client Contract documents
• Maintain tools, communication devices (i.e., iPad, phone, etc.), and equipment to ensure availability in safe operating condition
• Participate in meetings, workshops, training, and seminars, as assigned to convey and/or gather information required to perform job functions
• Provide excellent customer service to the client
  QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school/trade school graduate/ military school or apprentice program
  • A Universal CFC License
  • Valid Driver's License
  • 5+ years of related experience and technical training in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Systems
  • Working knowledge and understanding of BAS Control Systems
  • Broad knowledge of tools, instrumentation with extensive expertise in HVAC/R
