As the SEM Specialist, you directly impact the company’s growth
by ensuring our brand is prominently displayed in search engine
results, attracting qualified traffic, and converting leads. Cardio

recertified equipment. Customers’ emergency preparedness needs are
met via Cardio Partners’ nationwide CPR training courses and
state-of-the-art program management services. Summary: The SEM
Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing
paid search campaigns, with a heavy focus on search engine
marketing (SEM). This hands-on role involves purchasing ad units,
creating and managing sponsored ad campaigns, and ensuring the
company’s presence in high-visibility positions across search
engines. The SEM Specialist will play a pivotal role in driving
traffic, increasing conversions, and achieving ROI goals through
expertly managed SEM strategies and campaigns. Organizational

Your expertise in SEM and campaign management ensures that paid
media investments are optimized, driving measurable results and
supporting broader marketing objectives. Essential Duties and
Responsibilities: • Plan, execute, and manage paid search campaigns
across platforms such as Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising •
Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis to identify
high-performing opportunities and align campaigns with business
objectives • Create, monitor, and optimize ad copy, bid strategies,
and targeting to maximize ROI and campaign performance • Purchase
ad units and manage the allocation of budgets across campaigns to
ensure efficient use of resources • Analyze campaign performance
metrics, such as click-through rates (CTR), cost per acquisition
(CPA), and conversion rates, and make data-driven adjustments to
improve results • Collaborate with internal teams to align paid
search efforts with overall marketing strategies and product
promotions • Oversee A/B testing on ad creative, landing pages, and
bidding strategies to identify and implement best practices •
Ensure campaigns are aligned with organic search (SEO) efforts to
create a cohesive and effective search engine presence • Stay
updated on industry trends, algorithm updates, and new features in
SEM platforms to maintain a competitive edge • Prepare and present
detailed reports on campaign performance, insights, and
recommendations to stakeholders • Additional job duties as assigned
Skills/Experience Required: • Education: Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field • 5 years
of hands-on experience in SEM and paid search campaign management,
preferably in a digital marketing or agency setting • Expert
knowledge of Google Ads, Microsoft Advertising, Meta and related
SEM tools • Strong understanding of search engine algorithms,
keyword bidding, and ad auction dynamics • Proven ability to
optimize campaigns for performance metrics such as CTR, CPA, and
ROI • Proficiency in analytics tools like Google Analytics and
SEMrush, with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable
insights • Experience with A/B testing and campaign experimentation
to refine strategies • Excellent organizational and project
management skills to handle multiple campaigns simultaneously •
Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate
effectively with cross-functional teams and present findings to
stakeholders • Highly detail-oriented with a results-driven mindset
