Description: Race Winning Brands (RWB) is the leading
manufacturer of racing and high-performance parts sold to
automotive and powersports markets. RWB is the preferred source for
high-end pistons, engine blocks, cylinder heads, intake manifolds,
connecting rods, crankshafts, clutches and other engine and

distributors. RWB is headquartered in Mentor, Ohio with sales
offices and manufacturing operations in strategic locations
throughout the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia. The Quality
Specialist (QS) is a professional that is responsible for helping
to ensure that RWB-Mentor products meet the established quality
standards and specifications. This role is integral for the support
and upkeep of the certified ISO 9001 QMS at RWB-Mentor. The QS
shall support and facilitate internal and external audits that are
conducted at the RWB-Mentor plant. A thorough knowledge of the ISO
9001 standard is required. The Quality Specialist shall routinely
perform inspections, tests, and measurements on finished product,
materials, or components to ensure that they meet the required
quality specifications. The QS may also identify and address
quality non-conformances as well as facilitate or implement
corrective actions. The QS shall work closely with other members of
the quality team to ensure that the quality standards are met
throughout the production process. The QS shall also maintain
quality records and data, prepare reports, and prepare reports for
customers and the RWB leadership team. The QS should have strong
analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and
excellent communication skills to collaborate with various
departments and external customers. The QS must possess excellent
time management skills to effectively meet deadlines and prioritize
tasks efficiently. Experience in machining is a plus for this role.
The QS is also a team representative and shall contribute to help
satisfy the achievement of plant KPI's and the ISO goals of
'Customer Satisfaction' and 'Continual Improvement.' Quality -
Support the certified ISO9001 Quality Management System - Support
and monitor the adherence of the Internal Audit schedule -
Coordinates Management Review Meetings - Routinely conduct ISO
Internal Audits or Process Audits - Coordinate external audits with
registrar - Maintain documentation and inspection records for the
purpose of auditing in accordance with ISO requirements - Train new
hired employees on Quality Management Procedures - Manage and
maintain the document control system including quality policies,
procedures, and work instructions, and forms - Assist in the
development of control plans and inspection procedures - Routinely
perform random sample inspections on in-process or shelf stock
products - Help analyze and disposition to customer complaints and
feedback - Create quality metric reports for submittal to the
Quality Director, Supervisor, or RWB Leadership Team - Organize,
document, and submit customer PPAP's - Participate in continual
improvement activities or projects to enhance the quality of
processes or products - Provide routine quality support to other
RWB manufacturing sites Processes - Encourage and reinforce
cleanliness of the quality department and ensure safe working
conditions - Improve productivity and decrease quality issues using
lean manufacturing tools including but not limited to: o 6S
Principleso Perform root cause analysis of non-conformances or
defects and help identify appropriate solutions by using the 4D/8D
model approach - Create work instructions and procedures for
current and new processRequirements: - HS Diploma/GED and 3+ years
of experience in a quality related position within an industrial
environment OR Associates degree and 2+ years of experience in a
quality related position within an industrial environment - Minimum
of 3 years in a Quality Specialist or Quality Engineer role -
Minimum of 3 years of ISO experience is preferred - Certified
Quality Specialist, Internal Auditor, or Quality Engineer is a plus
- Six Sigma Green Belt is a plus PM21 What You'll Get:Eligible for
