Job Description:
Overview: In this role, you will oversee inventory strategies to
align stock levels with sales forecasts and market demand.
Collaborating with suppliers, you will ensure compliance with
packaging guidelines, uphold quality standards, and adapt to
evolving workplace needs. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain a system that will ensure stock levels are
maintained on items purchased Research potential suppliers and
products to meet the organization's needs Negotiate contracts with
vendors to get the best prices and terms Build and maintain
relationships with vendors to ensure a reliable supply of materials
Prepare purchase orders and maintain procurement records Analyze
market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures Provide
documentation to justify procurement Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Excellent organizational, negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of market research and data analysis Understanding of
purchasing best practices Knowledge of the products being purchased
Ability to analyze supplier performance and cost structures Ability
to check the quality of items Working knowledge of purchasing
software Physical Demands and Working Conditions: Occasional
walking through warehouse and production areas. Touching, feeling,
and understanding the products that are being purchased.
Participations in cycle counting, inventory processes. Quality
