You'll find yourself navigating various routes while adhering to all safety regulations and providing exceptional service to our clients. Operate a tractor-trailer to transport goods to various locations across established routes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance as required. Plan routes and meet delivery schedules, complying with truck driving rules and regulations. Manage documentation related to cargo, route and fuel, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality. Coordinate with the logistics team to optimize loads and handle any en-route issues. Maintain communication with dispatch to report and troubles or delays encountered on the road. Strong driving record with no traffic violations Knowledge of electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.) Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc.) Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Completion of a DOT certified truck driving training.
