Position Description: CGI is seeking an experienced
Cybersecurity Engineer who will play a critical role in resolving
complex information assurance challenges and integrating
cutting-edge electronic processes to tackle total system and
technology problems inherent to IA requirements. This position is
located in Columbus, OH. Your future duties and responsibilities:
In this role, you'll be at the forefront of integrating electronic
processes and methodologies to resolve comprehensive system and
technology challenges related to Information Assurance (IA)
requirements. Your analytical expertise will be critical in
identifying and addressing workflow, organizational, and planning
issues, ensuring that systems remain secure and responsive. Key
responsibilities include: . Analyzing threat information from
multiple sources including logs, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS),
intelligence reports, and vendor sites. Creating customized
dashboards and developing ES rules, reports, dashboards, data
monitors, active channels, and trends using Splunk ES to identify
and elevate high-threat items. . Administering and maintaining the
Splunk ES infrastructure, including backend database support,
upgrades, and daily maintenance. . Providing security engineering
support across planning, design, development, testing,
demonstration, and integration of information systems. . Acting as
a key resource and advisor for CERT Incident Handlers (IH) and site
Information Assurance Managers (IAM), ensuring robust incident
response and data mining optimizations. Required qualifications to
be successful in this role: * Seven (7) years of relevant IT
experience * DOD Secret Clearance * Must be eligible for IT I *
Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 IAT level III *
Relevant certification meeting DOD 8570/8140 CND-IS * Computing
Environment: Linux, Splunk Administrator * Experience creating
custom dashboards and reports in Splunk using threat data. *
Experience in the integration and sustainment of Splunk Core and
Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) CGI is required by law in some
jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation
range for this role. The determination of this range includes
various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience,
relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the
ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does
not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their
role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and
circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current
range for this role in the U.S. is $127,500.00 - $251,100.00. CGI
