Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/23/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in a Level 1 Trauma hospital with variable shifts and call requirements. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in an 18-bed Operating Room at a Level 1 Trauma hospital - Perform care for a range of surgeries including General, Robotic, Laparoscopic, Trauma, Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spinal, Ophthalmology, ENT, Plastics, Burns, Urology, GYN, and Transplant - Variable shift position with options for 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts on days or evenings - Call required Monday through Friday from 21:00 to 6:30, and Saturday/Sunday 6:30–19:00 and 19:00–6:30 - Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on unit needs - Utilizes EPIC for patient documentation - Circulate with a focus on Orthopedic, Neurosurgery, Spine, and General Surgery cases - Work as part of a multidisciplinary surgical team - Preferred experience includes ENT, GU, Plastics, and Burns - First-time travelers will be considered /n /n Requirements/n - Active RN license in Ohio or compact state - Minimum of 2 years of OR RN experience - Previous experience in a Level 1 trauma center required - BCLS certification required - EPIC experience required /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-670068.
