under the direct supervision of the xxxx. The Nursing Administrator
is responsible for overseeing all nursing operations within the
stabilization unit. This leadership role ensures the delivery of
high-quality, trauma-informed, and person-centered care in a
fast-paced crisis setting. The Nursing Administrator provides
clinical oversight, supervises nursing staff, ensures regulatory
compliance, manages medication processes, and collaborates with
internal and external partners to support client stabilization and
safety. ? ? ? This is a 24/7 facility with shifts available across
all hours. Compensation is based on experience. Essential Functions
Provides direct supervision and coordination of the stabilization
unit Functions as the liaison between administration and staff.
Assists in the planning and directing of nurses, milieu specialist
and behavior health technicians. Oversees services and activities
to ensure quality patient care. Oversees new employee orientation
and on-the-job training for all new nurses, milieu specialists and
behavioral health technicians in accordance with established
orientation program plans. Make rounds on the unit at least two
times per day and participate in shift report meetings when
possible. Establishing performance standards and monitor
compliance. Communicate and provide consultation training to staff.
Lead recruitment, hiring, onboarding, and retention of qualified
nursing personnel. Provide direct supervision, mentorship, and
performance evaluations for nursing staff. Develop and manage staff
schedules to ensure 24/7 coverage and continuity of care. Address
performance concerns and implement corrective action plans as
needed. Ensure nursing care aligns with clinical standards,
licensing requirements, and best practices. Monitor and audit
clinical documentation for accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Lead quality improvement initiatives, including incident reviews
and corrective actions. Oversee the ordering, storage,
administration, and disposal of medications in compliance with
state and federal regulations. Monitor medication administration
records (MARs) and ensure proper documentation. Investigate and
track medication errors and adverse drug events; lead root cause
analyses and implement corrective measures. Ensure staff are
trained and competent in medication administration protocols.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and all applicable privacy
and confidentiality standards. Maintain readiness for inspections
and audits by regulatory and accrediting bodies. Promote continuing
education and professional development opportunities for nursing
staff. Assist in the development and implementation of nursing
policies and procedures. Ensure staff adherence to policies through
education, supervision, and corrective action. Job Requirements and
Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN)
required; master's degree preferred Training Requirements
(licenses, programs, or certificates): BLS Recipient Right’s
Unrestricted Nursing license Experience Requirements: Minimum five
years of leadership experience working in a human service, crisis
or medical environment. Minimum of five years of psychiatric
nursing experience. Preferred Experience: Experience in working
with electronic health records Experience in customer service
Experience in crisis de-escalation Experience working with adults
with severe mental illness, substance use disorder or
intellectual/developmental disabilities Experience working with
children with serious emotional disturbance Job Specific

Additional Information (Travel required, physical requirements,
on-call schedules, etc.): Must be available for meetings and events
which may occur outside of standard office hours. Work performed
primarily in a crisis center environment. The ideal candidate must
