Essential Duties Are: Plans and delivers care to patients utilizing
the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions,
implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with
patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members while
maintaining standards of professional nursing. What You Should Know
About the RN/LPN Extended Hours Role: This is a DRIVING position
throughout Newark This is a Full-Time position: 8p-8a 3 days a week
and every other week. Holiday rotation also required. We provide
superior care and superior services to patients at their end of
life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.
RN/LPN Extended Hours Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited
nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio without any
board actions. Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.
CPR Certified Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN)
preferred and will be made available to Ohio's Hospice employees
who wish to obtain certification. Computer skills sufficient to
properly document services and care. Ability to drive during
daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather. Valid Driver's License
with Safe Driving Record State Minimum Automobile Insurance
Coverage Must be able to pass a criminal background check Must be
