Date: March 9, 2026 Location: Columbus, Ohio Compensation: Details
provided to qualified applicants Schedule: 13-16 week contract; Day
and Night shifts available; Weekend shifts vary based on unit
requirements; Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:3 (PCU), 1:4-5
(Medical-Surgical) Highlights: Oncology experience preferred but
not required; EPIC charting experience mandatory Float between
Oncology Medical-Surgical and Progressive Care (PCU) units as
needed Work with diverse patient diagnoses including active
oncology treatments, solid tumors, hematology, and general
medical-surgical conditions Specialized corrections healthcare
environment with enhanced staff safety protocols and security
measures Access to comprehensive interdisciplinary support
including Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy,
Respiratory Services, and Social Services 72 hours of orientation
provided; one pre-approved time off period available Requirements:
Active RN license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time
of submission) Minimum 2 years of RN experience; at least 1 year of
current specialty experience required Certifications: BLS (Basic
Life Support), ACLS, NIHSS EPIC charting system experience required
Proficiency in Medical-Surgical/Telemetry and Progressive Care
competencies Skills in dysrhythmia interpretation and management,
IV insulin protocols, feeding tube management, blood product
administration, central and peripheral line care, PICC line
management, IV starts, heparin protocols, PCA management,
BiPAP/CPAP, High Flow Nasal Cannula, ABG interpretation,
tracheostomy care, and isolation precautions Graduation from an
ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program Flu vaccine required
(medical exemptions only) Two professional references required (at
least one from a manager/director or formal supervisor) Must
complete Ohio fingerprinting process promptly upon contract signing
