Position Job Title: Neuro Critical Care Unit Travel Nurse

Intracranial Pressure Monitoring Description: Position available in
the Neuro Critical Care Unit. The role involves a day/night
rotation with every other weekend required. On-call duty is part of
the responsibility. The estimated patient ratio is 1:1-2. Floating
to units of equivalent or lower acuity is required. Candidates
should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Neuro ICU.
Required certifications include BCLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (AHA
certifications only). Skills required for the position include IV
start, telemetry, ventilator management, and intracranial pressure
monitoring. EHR experience with Epic is preferred. Previous travel
experience is a plus. The patient population includes individuals
with ischemic and hemorrhagic strokes, subarachnoid hemorrhages,
seizures, and post-operative neurosurgery patients. Daily census in
the unit is 18, with 18 beds available. Staffing support includes
IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy,
among others. Successful candidates must complete the
fingerprinting process promptly and follow all credentialing
requirements. Reference requirements are two professional
references, with at least one from a leadership capacity.
