Description Summary: This core faculty position is responsible for
independently directing the ACGME required behavioral health
education of Family Medicine residents to include: development of
educational programs and curriculum, oversee resident development
(e.g., direct observations, feedback, coaching, formal evaluations,
etc.), lead relevant meetings, and co-counsel patients with
resident physicians. This position serves as consultant and
referral, either personally or for community referral information
and directs Medical Education retreat programs and professional
development at respective OhioHealth residency program(s). The
position requires specialized depth of expertise in behavioral
health achieved through practice, independent licensure, and
advanced degree qualifications; leads others to solve complex
problems; interprets internal and external business challenges; and
recommends best practices to improve system delivery of behavioral
health care and Graduate Medical Education. FACULTY ROLE &

appropriate levels of supervision to promote patient safety.
Faculty members create an effective learning environment by acting
in a professional manner and attending to the well-being of the
residents and themselves REPORTING STRUCURE Reports to respective
Director of Medical Education (DME) with tasks assigned by the DME,
Program Director, or designee. Responsibilities And Duties: 75%
Offers Resident Education to include but not be limited to:
Developing educational programs and curriculum, overseeing resident
development, meeting with residents, and co-counseling patients
with residents as part of education. Serves as a consultant and
referral, either personally or for community referral information.
Directs Medical Education retreat programs and professional
development at respective OhioHealth residency program(s). 5% Works
closely with patients 10% Performs Support Services 10%
Participates in hospital and community committees for education and
recruitment programs. Minimum Qualifications: Master's Degree
(Required) Additional Job Description: SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE Degree
in Mental Health or related field. Strong public speaking skills.
Strong public health and educational teaching is necessary for this
position. Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. 3 - 5
yrs in similar position. Work Shift: Day Scheduled Weekly Hours :
