Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,269 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 16 Weeks Start Date: 3/9/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PCU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of high acuity PCU level or higher required. License: Must have a valid nursing license. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Oncology experience preferred but not required. Description: The position involves working in a comprehensive cancer center with specialized inpatient units for various cancer diagnoses. Floating to MedSurg and PCU oncology units is required. The focus is on infection prevention protocols and reducing patient falls. Staffing ratios in PCU are typically 1:3, but can go to 1:4 with mixed acuity. Self-scheduling requests will be accepted. Orientation includes a combination of dayshift and bedside training. Ideal candidates should possess skills in managing arterial lines, blood product administration, chemotherapy administration, and various patient care responsibilities. Experience with telemetry monitoring and non-invasive airway management is essential. Candidates must be equipped to handle emergencies and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary support teams.
