Job Description Job Description Master's degree in Occupational
Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1 year of
Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not
meet these qualifications will not be considered. A K-12 school in
Sterling Heights, MI, is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist
with specific school-based experience to support high school
students in a contract role lasting through the current school
year. This opportunity requires a professional who is passionate
about helping students improve their functional abilities and
succeed in an educational environment. Key Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services tailored to meet the needs of
high school students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
educational staff to develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs). Conduct assessments and recommend interventions to
support student participation in academic and extracurricular
activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation in
accordance with school policies. Deliver therapy services onsite,
ensuring direct interaction with students. Qualifications: Valid
Occupational Therapist licensure with specific experience in school
settings. Expertise in providing occupational therapy services to
K-12 students, particularly at the high school level. Ability to
work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Strong communication and organizational skills. Must be able to
provide onsite services; no Telehealth options. Note: Certified
Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) are not eligible for this
position. Location: Sterling Heights, MI Schedule: 15 hours per
week, contract through June 12, 2026 This contract role presents an
