Cardiac Cath Lab RNs may scrub, circulate or monitor cases. /n Ask your recruiter about our $10K sign on bonus available to RN’s with 1 or more years of RN experience. /n A Brief Overview /n Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. /n What You Will Do /n /n - Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship based nursing care. /n - Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. /n - Demonstrates clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical operations. /n - Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. /n - Displays leadership that influences optimal clinical and operational outcomes. /n /n Additional Responsibilities /n /n - Performs other duties as assigned. /n - Complies with all policies and standards. /n - For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. /n - Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace. /n /n Shift: /n /n - Hours: 8 hr. & 10 hr. shifts (8 hrs.: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm / 10 hrs.: 6:30 am - 5:00 pm /n - Call Requirement: 30 minutes arrival to hospital after page /n Qualifications Experience: /n /n - 1 year RN experience preferred. /n - Preferred experience: ICU, ED, Cath/EP Lab; will orient nurses to critical care if no critical care experience. /n /n Education /n /n - Graduate of an accredited nursing program required. /n /n Licenses and Certifications /n /n - Current RN licensure in the State of Ohio required. /n - Current BLS and ACLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association or must be obtained during Nursing Orientation. /n - Professional Certification from approved organization preferred. /n /n Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities /n Knowledge of nursing process and practice (Required).
