Pay Information $1,987 per week About The Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical/Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: A minimum of 1.5 years of Medical Surgical or Critical Care experience is required. License: Active RN license required. Certifications: BLS certification required. Must-Have: - Ability to read and interpret telemetry independently. - Strong neuro assessment skills. Description: Traveler's permanent address must be greater than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible to apply. The RN will work in the emergency department overflow area. This is a night shift position, working three 12-hour shifts. Travelers are first to float. Every other weekend and holidays based on need. Nurse-patient ratio is 1:5-6. This is an acute care interventional telemetry medical-surgical unit with 32 private beds. Patient acuity ranges from moderate to high and includes frequent neurological checks. The patient population includes various neurological and neurosurgical diagnoses. There are no ventilated patients in this unit. Common medications include heparin, argatroban, cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, and ketamine drips. Travelers must comply with the background policy prior to submission. More than one call-off is grounds for termination. No-call, no-show is grounds for immediate termination.
