Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Neuro Stepdown Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours (19:00 - 07:30) Experience: Minimum of 18 months recent Neuro Stepdown experience License: Permanent Ohio license or Compact State license in hand Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: Minimum of 18 months permanent experience in specialty applying for prior to travel Description: This position is for a registered nurse in a stepdown neuro unit. The role requires working a night shift of three 12-hour shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 18 months recent experience in a neuro stepdown setting. Experience in progressive care units is preferred but not required. All certifications required for the role must be active with no pending items. Travelers must work at least every other holiday. An ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment will be conducted during orientation. An acceptable score on both assessments is mandatory. References from a supervisor or manager in the specialty applying for are required to qualify for submission. Nurses are exempt from nicotine-free facility requirements temporarily. All other travelers must be nicotine-free. Other conditions regarding background checks and fingerprinting apply. Candidates will need to complete required modules prior to starting. Modules are billable up to a maximum of 4 hours. Annual modules are also billable, depending on the time spent in the position.
