DextroMedical is seeking a local contract nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a local contract nursing job in Columbus, Ohio. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty:PCU - Progressive Care Unit - Discipline:RN - Duration:13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift:12 hours, nights - Employment Type:Local Contract Requirements: Must have MS oncology and at least 1 year of hematology/oncology experience in work history Checklist- 1 year minimum to Screen EPIC Charting ACLS, BLS, NIHSS* IV Therapy/ Infusions Telemetry Interpretation, Telemetry monitoring, Additional Skills" Accessing Ports* Blood/Blood product administration, Central line blood draw, Central Line/Implanted Line Care, PICC line care, Starting IVs* Oncologic Emergencies Acute Tumor Lysis Syndrome (ATLS)* Sepsis* Chemotherapy Body fluid handling post Chemotherapy* Recognize/ communicate abnormal lab values* Work Settings Inpatient Oncology* Care of Patient With Leukemia/Blood Dyscrasias* Lymphoma/Non-Hodgkins lymphoma* Multiple Myeloma* Professional Knowledge and Skills Candidates are considered local if they live within a 50 miles radius of job location.
