Job Title: Behavioral Healthcare Provider 2 Profession: Behavioral Healthcare Provider Specialty: Staff Augmentation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Experience: Minimum years of experience required in clinical decision-making for suicidal clients and conducting biopsychosocial assessments of youth. License: One of the following independent licenses is required: - Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) - Licensed Independent Marriage and Family Therapist (IMFT) Certifications: Completion of continuing professional education for license renewal as required by relevant regulations. Must-Have: Experience in assessing the risk of suicide and mental health stability among incarcerated juveniles. Description: The Behavioral Health Provider operates under the general supervision of the facility behavioral health services supervisor. This part-time contract role involves assessing the risk for suicide and mental health stability among incarcerated juveniles. You will also conduct biopsychosocial assessments and updates for youth involved in legal proceedings and residing in correctional facilities. Your work will contribute to positive outcomes and youth well-being within this unique context. Responsibilities include: Assessing the risk of suicide and mental health stability for incarcerated juveniles. Performing thorough biopsychosocial assessments for incarcerated youth. Making informed clinical decisions related to treatment status and needs. Ensuring meticulous completion of all necessary documentation. Collaborating closely with behavioral health services to facilitate seamless service delivery. Providing coverage during weekends and holidays as coordinated with behavioral health services.
