Description:The Clinical Specialist serves as a key liaison, in
partnership with the Account Manager, between Kreg Therapeutics and
clinicians at partner hospitals, focusing on promoting and
supporting the use of Kreg's Vertical Bed technology and Bariatric
beds. Reporting to the Regional Clinical Engagement Manager, this
role partners closely with the Commercial Sales Team to drive
clinical engagement, adoption, and education within ICU and trauma
settings, especially Level I and II trauma centers. The Clinical
Specialist's expertise and guidance will help hospitals achieve
enhanced patient outcomes through new implementations,
re-engagements, and sustained utilization of Kreg's
technologies.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Promote Verticalization Therapy: Drive the adoption of
Verticalization Therapy (VT) in the ICU by educating
multidisciplinary teams on VT's role in early mobility programs and
improving patient care.
- Educate on Bariatric Bed Benefits: Act as a clinical advocate
for Kreg's Bariatric bed, providing education on its benefits in
strategic accounts identified by the Account Manager.
- Clinical Support & Therapy: Provide direct clinical support to
multidisciplinary hospital teams, assisting with proper patient
identification, therapy protocols, and product utilization. This
includes the development or enhancement of protocols, policies, and
criteria in partnership with ICU leaders.
- Demonstrations & Evaluations: Collaborate with the local sales
and operations team to conduct product demonstrations and
evaluations in target accounts.
- Clinical Trials Support: Assist Account Managers in clinical
trials for new products in hospitals, supporting data collection
and clinician feedback.
- Bed Fleet Management: Coordinate with the local Account Manager
operations team for Bed Fleet Management as necessary, ensuring
product availability and functionality.
- Product Operation & Troubleshooting: Gain proficiency in
testing, troubleshooting, and operating all Kreg products; assist
clinicians in product usage and troubleshooting.
- Customer Engagement & Service: Maintain high levels of customer
service by engaging hospital staff on training and education around
therapy adoption.
- Clinical Resource Development: Work closely with your Regional
Clinical Engagement Manager and the Senior Director of Clinical to
enhance and expand Kreg's clinical library of resources and
educational materials for customers.
- Relationship Building: Establish and foster strong
relationships with key clinical stakeholders and decision-makers in
strategic accounts to build long-term partnerships.
- Daily Reporting: Complete all required daily reporting
accurately to ensure thorough documentation of clinical engagements
in Monday.com and customer interactions.Requirements:
- Experience: 2-3+ years in a clinical role, preferably in the
ICU setting, with hands-on patient care experience.
- Professional Background: Registered Nurse (RN), Respiratory
Therapist (RT), or Physical Therapist (PT) preferred, with
experience managing clinical interactions and supporting clinical
education.
- Clinical Expertise: Knowledge of early mobility and safe
patient handling programs; experience educating clinicians on new
practices including protocol development, grounded in clinical
evidence and innovative technology.
- Travel: Willingness to travel frequently to Level I and II
trauma centers in California, Oregon, & Washington, with
approximately 50% travel required.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills,
customer-focused communication, and a demonstrated ability to
encourage adoption of new clinical practices and technologies.Why
