As an RN, you will provide routine patient care to those coming to the unit for imaging services and related appointments. In this position, a supportive and welcoming attitude can leave a lasting impression on everyone who encounter.A caregiver in this position works weekends from 7:00AM - 7:30PM. -A caregiver who excels in this role will: -

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic or therapeutic services to hospitalized patients in various healthcare settings. -
• Assess patients, complete nursing assessments, document findings in patient records and notify physicians of abnormal findings. -
• Perform telephone triage and call rotations. -
• Perform nursing procedures and administer treatments and medications. -
• Establish care plans in collaboration with patients, families and the health care team. -
• Coordinate ongoing care, identify discharge needs and facilitate discharge planning. -
• Evaluate, initiate and maintain standards of care. -
• Educate patients and families. -
• Cover other nursing roles in the department. -Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: -
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • One year of recent experience as an RNPreferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include: -

      • Full range of motion, manual and finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination
      • Standing and walking for extensive periods of time
      • Corrected hearing and vision to normal range
      • Some exposure to communicable disease or bodily fluids
      • Medium Work, exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
