Job Description:

Overview:The Live Entertainment Manager of Shows & Casting is responsible for collaborating with production staff to lead show creation and development, and provides production assistance in area of expertise. They will cast and manage all performance staff, including performer talent and supervision and oversee show quality and maintenance. They will also provide assistance with administrative operations as needed.
Responsibilities:Oversees creation and rehearsals for all live entertainment, hires all performance staff for all live productions, collaborates with all performance-related contractors to meet various show creation and rehearsal needs. Approximately 35+ show productions annually, including an interactive parade that travels throughout the park and culminates into a night time large scale show and celebration. Nearly 300 performers hired annually.
Qualifications:

• Live performance experience at a professional level, including but not limited to experience/knowledge in choreography, music direction, music performance, or acting. Casting experience, show creation and development experience, supervisory experience. Ability to travel for work purposes.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.Ability to pass a mandatory (or random) drug test, per Company policy, unless prohibited by state or provincial law. -Ability to pass a background check, if 18 years of age or older, which may include, but is not limited to, credit, criminal, DMV, previous employment, education and personal references, per Company policy, unless prohibited by federal, state, or provincial law.
