Summary: This position serves as a consultant and strategic partner
in the development and execution of talent acquisition strategies
that align to the Knorr-Bremse business units across the Americas
region. This includes responsibility for working with business
leaders and HR business partners to support and achieve hiring
demands across the Truck and Rail divisions. Essential Functions:*
Partner with, influence, and serve as subject matter expert
resource to advice business leaders and HR business partners on
talent acquisition strategies, plans, and practices to ensure
achievement of overall business objectives* Lead and upgrade the
organization's staffing process for all salary positions and
international assignments by coordinating with HR representatives,
hiring manager utilizing the defined staffing process. Manage the
organization's University relations through the co-op student
program; domestic, international and Summer Help Program.
Coordinate with Managers to ensure assignments provide
developmental opportunities for participants.* Manage the strategic
process related to internal talent pool activities including
leading the talent review meetings and assisting with managed
rotational experiences for talent development.* Ensure all
reporting requirements and recruiting practices are compliant with
applicable federal, state and local regulations, including
affirmative action, equal employment opportunity, immigration and
company policy. Complete all reports in the required timeframe.*
Ownership of the tracking/reporting processes including the
recruiting and relocation budget, statistics on recruiting goals
and objectives results.* Promote diversity strategies to advance
our culture of equity and inclusion for all partners and cultivate
a sense of belonging in all aspects of the work, team, and across
multiple relationships* Leverage data analytics, insights, and
macro-economic trends to determine hard to hire areas and roles to
develop strategic sourcing program and execution in partnership
with HR business partners.* Negotiate and manage external
suppliers/vendors for strategic resources and employment partners.
Focus on organizational-wide contracts and cost management.*
Partners with other KB companies within N.A. to establish and lead
the organization's staffing process.Knowledge:* Knowledge of hiring
strategy, staffing models and sourcing tools; familiar with
industry leading benchmarks to guide regional strategies.*
Knowledge of organizational structure, organizational development
activities related to Talent Acquisition, human capital planning
and employee relations.* Knowledge of EEO, AA legislation and all
legal aspect of selection and hiring.* Possesses comprehensive
knowledge of internal talent pool and external market.* Sound
knowledge in human resources methodologies, technical competencies,
legal requirements, and HR policies.Experience:* A minimum of 5
years experience in talent acquisition and human resources
services.* Must have worked in a high-volume recruiting environment
with a focus on delivering efficient recruitment strategies to
decrease the time of hire with a focus on reducing our overall
cost.* Familiar with Talent Acquisition KPIs; able to match current
performance against industry benchmarks to drive data based
decisions* Experience using web-enabled sourcing tools; talent
acquisition management software and HRIS software, required; prior
experience implementing applicant tracking systems highly desired*
Experience in negotiating with third party suppliers and individual
candidates.* Experience in budgeting and forecasting.Skills:*
Evidence of developing and implementing industry-leading best
practices in recruiting principles, practices and techniques*
Strong verbal & written communication skills, including experience
presenting, training, influencing through use of a business case,
and using data to make decision and recommend actions* Excellent
organization, planning and management skills.* Ability to build
relationships both internally and externally.* Ability to manage
projects; attain results; follow-up to ensure completion of cycle.*
Ability to utilize effective interviewing techniques in order to
analyze applicants' qualifications in relation to job requirements
and to determine suitable match.Education:* Bachelor's Degree in
business or human resources required. MBA/MA preferred. Position
