We are working with a reputable Rittman-based company seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join their dynamic team. * Responsibilities: * 1. *Mechanical Repairs on Trucks & Trailers: * - Diagnose and perform mechanical repairs on trucks and trailers to ensure optimal functionality. - Conduct inspections to identify and address issues related to engine performance, suspension, and other mechanical components. 2. *Routine Maintenance Tasks: * - Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, brake replacements, and greasing of trucks and trailers. - Execute preventive maintenance measures to enhance vehicle performance and longevity. 3. *Tool Proficiency: * - Utilize basic hand tools and air impact tools to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks efficiently. - Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment in accordance with established guidelines. 4. *Training and Development: * - Willingness to train and mentor the right candidate, providing opportunities for skill development and advancement within the role. 5. *Adaptability: * - Demonstrate flexibility by willingly undertaking any additional duties assigned by supervisors to contribute to the overall success of the team. *Qualifications: * - Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic is preferred but not mandatory; the company is willing to train the right candidate. - Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. - Ability to work independently or as part of a team. - Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship. - Physical fitness and the ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and tools. - A valid driver's license may be required. *Hours:* Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Overtime required when needed) *Pay:* Based on experience, ranging from $15 to $28 per hour *Note: The job description is subject to change as the needs of the company evolve, and additional responsibilities may be assigned as deemed necessary. * Mancan Temporary Staffing Employment Agency offers our temporary employees full benefits such as paid vacation, holidays, 401K, as well as vision, dental, and medical.
