As a Surface Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our food processing and production machinery and facilities are in top condition to meet these objectives. This position involves a blend of mechanical skills, preventative maintenance, and a commitment to safety and sustainability practices. Perform routine and preventative maintenance on food processing equipment. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues in a timely and effective manner. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Collaborate with the maintenance team to improve plant reliability and efficiency. Document maintenance activities and report on system performance. Help in the installation of new equipment and facilities. Strong mechanical aptitude Proficiency in using tools and maintenance equipment Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and schematics Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Effective communication and interpersonal skills Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) preferred OSHA Safety Certification
