Job Description Job Description Multi Craft Maintenance Technician - All Shifts Open - Pay up to $35/hr Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position requires flexibility to work across various shifts, including mandatory Sundays. The role involves troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, ensuring optimal performance of key assets such as extrusion presses, stretchers, saws, ovens, and automated handling systems. Shift: 1st Shift: 6:00am - 2:00pm 2nd Shift: 2:00 -10:00pm 3rd Shift: 10:00pm - 6:00am Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on extrusion equipment including presses, billet loaders, ovens, pullers, and saws. Maintain and repair hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motors, gearboxes, conveyors, and PLC-controlled devices. Perform electrical work up to 480V, including wiring, MCCs, and control panels. Support preventive and predictive maintenance efforts such as vibration analysis and thermography. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focusing on equipment upgrades, energy efficiency, uptime, and scrap reduction. Essential Skills: Strong hands-on experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance. Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting of bearings, hydraulics, and schematics. Ability to perform 480V troubleshooting using a volt meter. At least 2 years of experience in an industrial setting. Comfortable reading schematics and working with PLCs (Allen-Bradley preferred). Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Canfield, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
