UniFirst First Aid Safety, a division of UniFirst Corporation, is seeking a dedicated Fire Extinguisher Technician to join our team. This role focuses on the maintenance and servicing of fire extinguishers to ensure the safety and compliance of our clients' facilities. As part of your role, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining fire protection equipment, demonstrating superior knowledge in fire safety protocols, and providing excellent service based on UniFirst's strong commitment to customer satisfaction. Perform routine inspection, servicing, and maintenance of fire extinguishers and other fire suppression systems. Identify defects, damages, or malfunctions in fire extinguishers and execute pertinent corrective measures. Ensure compliance with current fire codes and regulations. Educate customers on the proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers and other related safety equipment. Prepare service reports and maintain accurate records of inspections and service interventions. Coordinate with the sales team to provide solutions and improvements for customer safety programs. Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations and equipment. Proficient in the use of tools and equipment used for fire equipment maintenance. Excellent organizational and analytical skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from a recognized authority in Fire Safety Equipment Technician or similar. Valid driver’s license, as this role requires travel to client locations.
