for over 100 years! General Information Millwright Canton, OH Up to
$27.50/hour based on experience ( 4% shift premium for afternoons)
Afternoon shift Direct Hire opportunity As the Millwright, you will
be responsible for the maintenance and repairs of the facility and
electrical equipment. Duties/Responsibilities Responsible for
building and machine maintenance and repairs. Troubleshoot and
repair mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Machine lock
out/tag out. Repair windows, roof, doors, etc. Complete maintenance
logs. Complete equipment checklists, read manuals, blueprints, and
troubleshoot for repairs. Maintain and repair sprinkler system,
heater, furnace, etc. Retrieve parts needed for repairs from
storeroom. Interact with outside vendors for parts ordering or
repairs. Use cutting torches and portable welder as needed
Skills/Qualifications 2 years experience as a Millwright or
Industrial Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing facility. Able
to read and interpret blueprints, work orders, drawings, etc. Must
be able to move 50 lbs of material on a regular basis, with
occasional 90 lbs of lifting. High school diploma or equivalent
required. Will be subject to pre-employment drug and background
