Job Description Job Description Description: Bright Beginnings Childcare Center is seeking reliable, nurturing, and flexible On-Call/Substitute Teachers to support our classrooms as needed. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy working with young children, can step into different age groups with confidence, and value a supportive, team-oriented environment. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous childcare or early childhood experience preferred Must meet state licensing requirements for childcare staff CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Ability to adapt quickly to different classrooms and age groups Reliable, punctual, and dependable Requirements: Requirements Provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children ages 6 weeks-5 years Step into classrooms as needed to maintain appropriate ratios Follow daily schedules, lesson plans, and classroom routines Support children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment Supervise children at all times, ensuring safety and well-being Communicate respectfully and professionally with staff and management Follow all center policies, state licensing regulations, and health & safety procedures Schedule & Availability On-call / as-needed hours Flexible scheduling: shifts may be offered on short notice Hours may vary based on staffing needs
