Job Description:
Job Description Job Description Master's degree in
Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1 year of
Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A
school-based Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support
elementary students in grades K-5. This part-time contract position
offers an opportunity to provide in-person speech and language
services, helping children develop essential communication skills
within an educational setting. The assignment is scheduled to start
as soon as possible and will continue throughout the current school
year. Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and treat speech and
language disorders in children from kindergarten through fifth
grade. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each
student's needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other
education professionals to support student progress. Maintain
accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student
performance. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and
contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Desired Qualifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence in
Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC). Completion of Clinical
Fellowship Year (SLP-CFY) preferred. Experience providing
school-based speech-language services. Strong interpersonal and
communication skills. Ability to work effectively with young
children. Compliance with applicable state licensure requirements.
Commitment to delivering in-person services (teletherapy not
applicable). Location: Elementary School setting in Mount Clemens,
