considered. An elementary special education teaching opportunity is
available for a K-5 co-teach position at a school in Athens, GA.
This full-time contract role offers 37.5 hours per week for the
current school year (CSY) and is ideal for educators with a passion
for supporting diverse learners in an inclusive classroom
environment. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with general
education teachers to co-teach and support students with special
needs in grades K-5. Develop and implement individualized education
plans (IEPs) tailored to students' unique learning goals. Adapt
instructional materials and strategies to meet the needs of all
learners. Monitor student progress and communicate regularly with
parents, colleagues, and support staff. Maintain accurate records
and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations.
Qualifications: Valid Elementary Education certification for the
state of Georgia. Experience or training in special education
within elementary grade levels. Strong collaboration and
communication skills in a co-teaching environment. Ability to
conduct thorough student assessments and develop appropriate
instructional plans. Candidates must provide three professional
references before interviewing; one reference must be from a
