Storyteller is responsible for identifying, crafting, and sharing
stories that celebrate what God is doing in and through Christ
Community Chapel (CCC). This role translates ministry impact,
personal transformation, and church initiatives into compelling
narratives across multiple platforms. The full-time Creative
Storyteller helps shape how our church sees itself and invites
others into what God is doing by capturing moments, voices, and
visuals with clarity and care. Responsibilities: Story Discovery &
Development: Actively seek out and gather stories from ministries,
staff, and members that align with CCC’s mission and vision.
Conduct interviews and develop narratives that highlight life
change, outreach impact, and community engagement. Collaborate with
pastors, ministry leaders, and the communications team to identify
timely and strategic storytelling opportunities. Content Creation &
Production: Serve as the church’s primary videographer and
storyteller: Capturing story-driven videos of testimonies that will
tell the story of what God is doing. Capture and edit video content
for special church initiatives and projects. Assist in capturing
content and creative development of social media stories & reels to
tell compelling CCC stories with external communications agency.
Write, edit, and produce stories for multiple communication
channels that include web, email, social media, and weekend
services while maintaining consistency in voice and tone. Produce
and give oversight for weekly and seasonal podcast content and give
feedback/direction to other editor(s). Work with Creative Lead to
ensure storytelling aligns with church priorities, seasonal
campaigns, and ministry initiatives. Requirements: Be in a dynamic
and growing relationship with Jesus. 3–5 years of experience in
content creation, journalism, ministry communications, or
storytelling, preferably in a large church or business setting.
Exceptional videography, interviewing, and editing skills.
Understanding of storytelling for video and digital media. Ability
to handle sensitive stories with care and discretion.
Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced,
mission-driven environment while being flexible to work weeknights
and weekends. Committed to the mission and vision of CCC.
