Job Description:
Clean Harbors, a leading provider in environmental, energy, and
industrial services across North America, is looking for a
dedicated and skilled Class A CDL Driver / Equipment Operator TWIC.
This role is pivotal in helping us fulfill our mission to protect
the environment through responsible disposal of hazardous waste,
emergency response actions, and industrial cleaning services. As
part of our logistics team, this travelling role ensures the safe
and compliant transportation and handling of materials while
adhering to governmental and company regulations. This position
demands a high level of responsibility, reliability, and attention
to detail, offering an opportunity to work in diverse settings and
play a critical part in our environmental stewardship efforts.
Operate Class A CDL vehicles and heavy equipment adhering to
operational and safety guidelines. Load, unload, and secure
hazardous and non-hazardous waste materials for transport and
disposal. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure
vehicle safety and compliance with all government regulations.
Maintain accurate logs and records, including hours of service,
maintenance, and material handling. Collaborate with dispatch and
other team members to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery
of services. Manage on-site job activities, ensuring compliance
with environmental safety measures. Proficiency in operating Class
A CDL licensed vehicles and heavy equipment. Strong awareness and
adherence to safety and compliance regulations related to hazardous
materials handling. Effective communication skills, both verbal and
written. Ability to use electronic logging devices (ELDs). Medical
Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with
a clean driving record. TWIC card (Transportation Worker
Identification Credential). HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
