Your Key Responsibilities /n - Set up and programming of operating machines including accuracy and effectiveness checks in first test sequences /n - Oversee ramp up of machines after setup procedure and support Operators in operating the machines /n - Support maintenance in the repair, prevention of downtime and inspection of machines /n - Follow documented procedures and processes and maintain accurate records and tracking /n - Check finished product/product component and submits for approval /n - Follow all safety and production rules and ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times /n /n Your Qualifications - Required: /n - High school diploma or GED equivalent /n - Ability to use instruments for measuring and to identify defects /n - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and write clear communications in English /n - Ability to operate medium-complex machinery for use in inspection /n - Good visual acuity /n - Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required /n - Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship /n /n Preferred: /n - Minimum of two (2) years of experience operating machines in a manufacturing environment /n - Experience working with power tools /n - Ability to read blueprints /n /n /n Our Offering /n - 2nd and 3rd shift premium available /n - Medical, dental and vision insurance /n - Life insurance and 401k eligible with up to 6% company match /n - Please see all our benefit offerings at Schaeffler Benefits /n /n As a global company with employees around the world, it is important to us that we treat each other with respect and value all ideas and perspectives.
